Responsibilities of homeroom parents:  (teachers may have additional requests)

• Christmas Party - 
• Valentine Party - 
• Assist teacher in coordinating drivers for field trips (K-9 Caroling week before Christmas break) & the Ash Wednesday Chapel service at First Lutheran Church.
• Communicate with teachers about annual Christmas Angels collection.  FLS has a proud tradition of sponsoring several children through DHS.  Coordinate money collection from class families and fulfill shopping needs from the provided wish list.
• Serve as the contact person for the PALS executive board and classroom teacher.  If PALS or the teacher needs "man power", you will be asked to call other parents for assistance.
• Help coordinate parties for Mrs. Davis' Spanish class (K-9 only)
• Acknowledge your teacher's birthday.

Homeroom parents are in the unique position to help teachers, get to know the other parents at the school and show your child the importance of volunteering.  Thank you!  From the PALS Board
