Kindergarten Update

        I hope everyone had a great weekend. It looks to be getting a little warmer so we will be going back outsideJ! We had our first Spelling Test last week and everyone did fantastic! I am so proud of this class! They were excited too! Thank you for working with them at home too! It makes such a difference.

        Here is what we will be learning…

• Jesus Time~ Jesus Chooses His Disciples ( Matthew 4:18-22; 10:2-4)
• Memory~ “Come follow Me” Jesus said. Matthew 4:19
• Spelling~ bed, led, fed, red, Ted, wed, *sled, *Fred
• Reading~ Short vowel sounds a & e
• Math~ Money
• Social Studies & Science~ Penguin, Polar Bears and their climates

Reminders

• Muffins with Mom –Friday, January 15^th 7:15-7:45am
• No School January 18^th
• Daddy Daughter Dance will be in February
• Show & Share on Friday- They may bring anything they would like.
• Library Wednesday
• Chapel Offering is going to “Heart to Heart” this month
