Tales of a Forth Grade Classroom

March 3-7, 2008

The following are a few reminders, info, and tips for the next few weeks:

Ø     Some kids want to challenge themselves to read for 100 points.  I am completely on board; they recommended ideas to celebrate that accomplishment – We are thinking of a pottery and cookie painting adventure.  We have students that are within 40 points of achieving that goal.

Ø     Please watch the weather and dress accordingly.  We go outside as much as we can!!

Ø     MULTIPLICATION and......DIVISION facts:  Keep practicing – flash cards in the car are perfect or visit these web sites for some fun drill.  Ask about our "Multiplication & a Movie" contest.

www.mathplayground.com  and  www.multiplication.com (The math magician game is especially good for drill on this site.)

FYI:
