Spanish K-5

Bienvenidos

Welcome to our Spanish Page!

Our classes this year are going to be loads of fun as we learn a new language through art, music, repetition, and games!

Kindergarten students will begin with greetings and move to the colors and numbers

First and second graders are reviewing what we covered last year, and will continue with higher numbers and more things around the classroom.

Third grade students are almost finished with their review, and will start learning some new songs and enjoy art activities with their Spanish.

Fourth graders have a lot ahead of them. It is our plan for them to finish the Level A book from which they are studying, and move into Level B by Christmas! Be expecting your fourth grade student to have homework in Spanish. The written work is reinforcement of what we do in class. If we work hard, Fourth graders should be at least half way through Level B by the end of the year.

Fifth grade students are already buzzing along! They have had an intense review, and are moving ahead. Fifth graders will have some enrichment work as well as their text and workbook. It would be best if they each have a three-ring binder to keep these lessons in.  Fifth graders should be finished with the Level B that they are currently in, and move to Level C by Christmas!
